Losing a beloved pet is one of the most heartbreaking experiences that any pet owner can go through. Pets are more than just animals; they are our loyal companions, our best friends, and our family members. They bring joy, comfort, and love to our lives, and they deserve to be remembered and honored in a respectful way.
I realised the importance of a safe resting place for passed loved ones when I lost my best friend, Beau last year. Beau was an 11 year old Tibetan spaniel who lived his life right by my side. He seemed to be the fair few that really understood me. When I was offered an urn from the pet cremation business, I noticed they were not local, handmade or personalised. That’s when I decided to create a vessel myself. It took me four vessels to know I had made the right one for my dear Beau. What made it even more special was to create an urn for Beau and Bootsy to lay together. Bootsy was my best friend growing up and although he had stinky breath and two teeth, Beau and Bootsy were the best of friends. I always wonder what they are currently doing together.

By creating a ceramic urn for a passed loved one, I feel I'm honoring their connection to nature and their cycle of life. A ceramic urn is more than just a container for your pet’s ashes. It is a symbol of your love, your gratitude, and your memories of your pet. It is a way of saying goodbye and honoring your pet’s life. It is a special and meaningful way to keep your pet close to your heart.
